Affinity Welcomes New Physicians

Affinity Clinic announces the addition of eight new physicians, including hospital medicine providers, internists and a pulmonary medicine/critical care specialist.
 
Affinity welcomes four new hospital medicine providers: Kathrine Gibbons, M.D., Brandi Holsey, M.D., Michael Moss, M.D. and Craig Pierce, M.D.  Dr. Gibbons has returned from retirement as an outpatient/inpatient internist to provide full-time hospital medicine.  Dr. Gibbons is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center.  Dr. Holsey also earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center.  Dr. Moss received his medical degree from Saint Christopher’s College of Medicine and completed his residency training at Memorial Health University Medical Center.  Dr. Pierce, a native of Alapaha, is a graduate of Mercer University and completed his residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
 
Tift Regional Medical Center’s hospital medicine program is staffed and managed by Affinity Hospital Medicine.  A hospital medicine provider gives care to individuals while they are in the hospital.  While on duty, their time is devoted solely to caring for hospitalized patients. 
 
Affinity Clinic also welcomes three new internists who will provide both outpatient and inpatient medicine.   Internal medicine physicians specialize in the prevention and treatment of adult diseases.  Tifton-native Brittney Berckman, M.D. is a graduate of Mercer University’s medical school.  Catherine Featherston, M.D. earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine and Sam Featherston, M.D. graduated from Mercer University’ s medical school.  Dr. Berckman, Dr. Catherine Featherston and Dr. Sam Featherston all completed their residency programs at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
 
A new pulmonary medicine/critical care specialist has also joined Affinity Clinic.  Jorge Glass, M.D. earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central Venezuela, Medico Cirujano.  He completed an internal medicine residency at Boston Veterans Administration Medical Center.  He followed with fellowships in pulmonary medicine at the University of Miami and critical care at the Chicago Medical School and affiliated hospitals.
